This healthy dish combines zucchini with savory ground beef for a satisfying meal. The zucchini adds a light, fresh flavor while the ground beef provides richness.

Ingredients:

  • 4 zucchinis, cut into long, thin strands (spiralized or julienned)
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, smashed and sliced
  • 200g ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon pepper paste (optional for added flavor)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onions and cook until softened.
  3. Add the ground beef, garlic, salt, and black pepper, stirring to combine.
  4. Stir in the pepper paste and cook until the meat is fully browned.
  5. Add the zucchini strands and reduce the heat to low. Cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the zucchini is tender.
  6. Serve immediately, optionally topped with cheese for extra flavor.
