Ingredients:

  • 2 lb. salmon fillets
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce (low sodium if available)
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 tbsp fresh minced ginger
  • 1 tsp roasted sesame seeds
  • Chopped scallions (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Marinate the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets in a large bowl. In a separate bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, sesame seeds, garlic, and ginger to make the marinade. Pour the marinade over the salmon fillets. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to marinate.
  2. Bake the Salmon: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Remove the salmon fillets from the marinade and place them on a greased baking tray. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through.
  3. Prepare the Glaze: While the salmon is baking, pour the remaining marinade into a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes to thicken the sauce.
  4. Serve: Once the salmon is done, remove from the oven and garnish with chopped scallions. Drizzle the thickened sauce over the salmon fillets, or serve it as a dip on the side.

Enjoy your flavorful and fragrant honey soy glazed salmon!
