Ingredients:
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1.5 cups powdered sugar
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
Directions:
- In a large bowl, add 1 cup of vegetable oil.
- Add 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar and knead well by hand.
- Add 2 tablespoons of flour and knead again.
- Continue adding the powdered sugar and flour, alternating in small amounts, until all is used up.
- Divide the dough into two parts, and roll each piece out to 1/4 inch thickness.
- Cut cookies with shaped cutters or a glass edge, placing them 1 inch apart on ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake at 325°F (165°C) for 15–20 minutes, or until lightly golden.
- Cool on wire racks, then dust with powdered sugar if desired.
These cookies sound light and crumbly, perfect with a dusting of sugar!
